Throughout the year, students will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sporting and cultural activities through a variety of inter-house competitions.
Inter-house swimming carnival
The Inter-House Swimming Carnival takes place in the first
term of each year. Students are selected from this carnival to represent the
school at the Inter-School Carnival which is held in November each year.
Students are also invited to participate in their local swimming carnivals.
Inter-house athletics carnival
The purpose of this carnival is to offer our students the
opportunity to learn about the events. Training in sprint, high jump, shot-put,
long jump and ball games occurs as well as some ‘quite’ activities in the
afternoon. The Inter-House Athletics Carnival is held over 2 days at the end of
the second term each year. Students are selected from this carnival to represent
the school at the Inter-School Carnival which is held in August/September each
year. Students may also be invited to attend athletics carnivals held in their
local area.
